Documents
Attaching documents is much like images and uses the same notation in the wiki.
Unlike images, they do not display the document, but rather provide a link to the document.
Allowed Documents
What types of documents allowed is governed by the site.config file and a setting called:
uploadTypes: gif,jpg,png,txt,pdf,csv,php,wmv
It defines what types of objects are permitted.
What you should NOT use...
Unless you are collaborating with someone, the use of RAW documents like, DOC, DOCX, XLS, PUB etc.. should not be used as a document.
You should use published versions of those documents of PDF, TXT, CSV etc...
Sample document
After you create the page with the new link, the link will allow you to then upload the document.
Reloading
Reloading documents works the same way as images do. Go to the page that has the document link on it you want to reload, click the reload at the top, and then click on the REL or ^ next to the document you are reloading to upload the new version.
