Search List Includes
Great for FAQ's!
This is a bit complicated... but once setup allows you to add content that then gets included on a menu of sorts automatically.
This is exactly how this is being done in this set of pages.
The top page, only has a search link on it, and it finds and then displays each item it finds when the user hits that page.
This is great for FAQ's and other content that will be have new pages added over time.
The search function
Assuming this is the top page of the section you want to do this in, you would use the syntax:
In this case, I limited it to the first 3 entries (count=3).
It is using the pages that are below the bwwiki.pageformat page and basically create links to each page.
IF you have not used the Title command on the newly created pages, the pages will only show their page name. Ie. this page is search, but I used the title to make it appear as "Search List Includes"
Adding new Pages
After you have set this up, adding new pages and having them included is easy.
- Go to the main page of the section
- Use the Child function
- Use a simple name for that page
- Add the content
- Save
- Use the Title function to full name the page
and you are done. The new page is automatically added to the list.
